AMAZING Peanut Butter No-Bakes😍

These cookies are the most requested of me for any party or get together. Every time I make them, I have to make at least two dozen for my boyfriend and his dad alone! My family is also very big and very much into peanut butter, so I triple this recipe nearly every time I make them. The recipe makes about 2 dozen nicely sized cookies, and they do not last long around here! These are perfect for the holiday season, they also make a perfect gift for a coworker, teacher, friend, or really anyone special in your life. Here's what you'll need:
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) of butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter
  • 1/8 cup of water
  • 3 cups of rolled oats
First, melt the butter or margarine in a medium-sized pot over medium heat. When it is melted, add the milk and sugar, and whisk until the sugar is distributed evenly. Let the mixture remain on medium heat until it starts boiling. When it starts to boil, stir it for 1 minute then remove it from heat. The following steps will need to be done in a timely manner, as the mixture will start to set up before too long. Add the teaspoon of vanilla extract, and stir it in. Then, add the peanut butter and stir until you have a smooth, creamy peanut butter sauce. Next, add the oats and mix until the oats are all distributed evenly, and all evenly coated in the peanut butter mixture. Next, add water. You may have to add a little more to make the mixture slightly less sticky. If it looks dry, or if you think you have more oats than peanut butter, add more water. Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture on to wax paper or foil. Let the cookies sit for about 30 minutes to be sure they are completely set up. Enjoy!
